Brittany and Paul were married in February at Museum of Life + Science in Durham, NC. This couple had some serious squad goals, in the amount of 24 people!!! Honestly, they were the best behaved group we have ever had:) They started their day getting ready at the Mothership and Motorco. We fought (and barely won) the urge to ask Brittany if we could twirl in her dress.
Brittany and Paul both work for a school in Durham and in their spare time, they enjoy making and drinking beer so it was only fitting their "guest book" would be 99 bottles of beer on the wall. Each guest signed a mug when they arrived. After a skip and hop down the aisle to none other than Hall + Oates, guests were welcomed to the cocktail hour. In lieu of a traditional sit down dinner, the guests enjoyed heavy apps from Southern Harvest throughout the night, including a killer mac n cheese bar. Paul's love of movies runs deep, so each of the tables was themed with a movie, and Brittany hand made the centerpieces based on that movie. In keeping with the "not yo mama's wedding" theme, the couple also swapped a cake for Carolina Glazed donuts. It was Donuts.For.Dayz people.
In case that wasn't fun enough for you, the museum was open, and the guests could play all they wanted. Later in the evening, they brought some furry party pals out to meet.
Congrats, you crazy kids. We wish you all the happiness in the world. Our only question is, did anyone win big at the lottery tickets??!! We'll never know...
